Haven't seen this article before, or the vehicle from this angle. The interesting thing is that Fred Crismon, in U.S. Military Tracked Vehicles, shows a side view of it and says that it's impossible to tell the front from the back or make out whether the large-calibre tube is a gun or an exhaust pipe. In fact, it is possible to tell the front from the back in his photo, because the front, steering, wheel of the Holt tractor is visible. But the photo and artist's impression in the Standard give an excellent indication of what it looked like.
