Would have thought Caterpillar" but it looks too short for that (and the early logo had one more 'wave' in the text, I think - ref http://www.cashmanequipment.com/blog/tag/benjamin-holt/).

As Holts were regularly used to tow artillery and as I don't see a spot for tractors I decided to post here. This is not a bad image of a 75HP Holt towing a tracked trailer in Palestine courtesy of the

University of Newcastle. Now to the question. Note the word on the rear of the canopy and the format of same. Does anyone know what the word is? I have seen same on a number of

Holts in this theatre of operations but none of them have been clear enough to actually read.

This may help doesnt look like caterpillar.. an eight letter word your starter for 10
