British 2.75 inch mountain gun walkaround - image heavy!

Walkaround of the lovely little 2.75 inch mountain gun - used by British and Empire forces, especially in Palestine and Salonika. I can send original sized photos to anyone interested - a model of one in 1/76 or 1/72 would be superb! My great-grandad was a mountain gunner with 4th (Highland) Mountain Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery, who used them in Salonika (although I think he left the unit by then, but was on 10 pounders at Gallipoli)

There isn't an article on the 2.75" (70mm) Mountain gun on Landships II.

Anyone got some period images or knows anything about the development and/or deployment

of his gun? I'll put an article together for Landships II with Rob's images.

Regards,

Charlie

Nothing that couldn't be found in the English Wikipedia article and here

http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=2742.30;wap2

http://wegunners.webs.com/mountainartillery.htm

and in this period pictures

Full details should be included in this book:

I'd like to suggest to add a link to Brennan's conversion article as well:
