Dimensions?

This has been asked before (without much success): has anyone any idea what the dimensions (even basic ones) of the Latil TAR are? Even dimensions taken from a model kit (like the Azimut 1/35) would help.

The excellent and informative Guerre, Blindes & Materiel, (apologies for the absence of the accents), has chassis drawings and colour representations showing the various types of body fitted to the Latil T\ar These are scaled to 1/35. I have that issue, (which can probably still be found in back numbers). It is an invaluable guide to the appearance and variants of 1914-1918.

(Issue number is 77, (juin-juillet 2007), which gives the wheelbase as 3.00m.)

Thanks Michael, knowing the wheelbase is good enough for me; I can work out other dimensions from that, as I've seen a chassis drawing online - it just didn't have any dimensions.

Hello,

To be precise: Lenght: 5,90 m Width: 2,25 m Height: 2,10 m. A very fine 3-views drawing has been published in Tankette 29.2.

Best regards,

Length 5.9m? That surprises me, I expected closer to 5m; perhaps the 5.9m includes the winch often seen at the back?

Useful to know these sizes anyway! Thanks, Brancaleone,

TCT

Hello TCT,

My datas are given in:" L'automobile sous l'uniforme" by François Vauvilliers. Probably are you right regarding the winch.

Best regards,

Brancaléone
