I ran across this photo of an MkIV Female that intrigues me, and if this photo has been discussed before please forgive me. It is very interesting and the caption reads the following.
English Tank, destroyed on the 23rd of August 1917 by the assault company of 34th Infantry-Division. Herenthage Park
Does anyone know any information on this tank, name etc??
Very interesting that this machine appears to have demarcated camo pattern - almost like Solomon scheme, but without much variation between the colours. Anyone have an explanation for this, so long after the introduction of khaki camo (seven months and a bit, if the caption is correct)? An attempt by an individual crew to break up the lines of their tank to disguise it, or to confuse?
That's odd. It says on gottmituns that, "According to the Landships Forum the tank above should be either B3 Bystander or B5 Bluebird.

There's a Belgian post-war postcart depicting this tank (well, at least the camouflage pattern is identical and the position is the same) saying: Tank 'B 38', Gheluvelt Road.
