That was an interesting piece on those small short-lived countries. Have you ever dug into the Ukrainian history? During the Russian Civil War, the Ukraine was independent, though divided between different factions, like cossacks, anarchists and nationalists. There was nevertheless an official Ukrainian army with its own uniforms.
I've attached pictures of Ukrainian uniforms and an Austin A/C of the Petlyura army, hoping this will inspire you to another fine article, on the Ukraine.
