German Mortar - 170mm or 250mm?

Hi PDA,

Definitely a 25cm sMW a/A.

The 25cm version has a hole in the side wall of the upper carriage, the 17cm doesn't. Also the traverse wheel on the 25cm is placed horizontally, on the 17cm it is placed vertically.

I have seen two different references to this mortar:

One says it is 170mm, and the other says 250mm. Which is it?
