I know that strictly speaking it isn't a first world war gun as they came just to late, but it's coming to my home town, so decided to post it here. :)
Fort Nelson is already a fab museum. You get an historic fort perched on top of the hill above Portsmouth, a really interesting collection artillery, AND if the weather allows, a fantastic view over the Solent. This impressive railway howitzer will be the icing in the cake.
Nice one! Interestingly, the mounting it's on is pre-WWI as it's an 1886-pattern proofing carriage (used at one point to test the 110-ton 16.25in guns of HMS Benbow and the Victoria class turret ships).
