Well, I don't agree with the statement that there are only two working replicas in Europe, because I've seen ads for some rent-a-tank business that hires out a lookalike for reenactments/publicity and so on. Depends, of course, on your definition of replica; only Bovington's tank could properly be called a replica, because the shape is right, not simplified or scaled down like the other vehicles.

Nonetheless, thanks for posting this!

Apparently, this is the vehicle that featured in the film of the opera "The Magic Flute." http://www.tanks4hire.co.uk/WW1armouredmilitarytank.html It had a headlight between the front horns, but it seems this gent has had it partly rebuilt. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-24427014

Sorry. This link works. Just noticed that towards the end there's a bit of Cambrai going on in the background: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKJZbp-16ts

This is/was the tanks4hire (or similar) one. Other replicas are Bovington's as mentioned and one under construction in Belgium. The one from 'Extraordinary League of Gentlemen' is now in the Middle East

Here's the before and after.

Rob - do you know any more about the one from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Hi All,
Just a quick one, the gentleman in question only lives a few miles from me, and was on the local news the other week.
