New to WW1 tanks and picked up the Airfix male at the weekend as a nostalgia/relaxing build between other projects.
In the great review/article on this site the author says
If you want to make a Mk II or III, the wheeled tail must be removed and the holes in the sides should be filled in. The holes in the rear end plate must be masked off, one with a small, square plate, the other with a box, positioned off-centre to the left.
I understand about the wheeled tail but can anyone point me to a pic of the rear end plate as it should be, Is the pic in the attached file (from matador Models Site) how it should look?

One further question- were any captured mk IIs used by the Germans?
No. Definitely not. A lot of Mark IIs were left on the battlefield, and allegedly the armour was tested (the Mark II was not armoured - it was just steel plate), but no Mark II tanks were used by Germany.
