There's one in the book on the Railway Operating Division in WW1 (don't have it to hand) - appears to show two Whippets on one wagon, and a single Whippet on another
The book can't be found at a reasonable price - someone in Japan wants ~$6700 for it !!!
However, I'm currently having a very active email conversation with the publisher, and he seems willing to find the image and send it. He also hopes to do a reprint next year.
I thought I had seen all the Whippet articles on the site, but I'll look again.
Best I could probably do is a photograph of a photograph, as I don't have access to a scanner any more, and may be a while as working long hours and spending most of my spare time advertising my book out imminently
Rob - Shaun Tyas, the publisher of R.O.D. - Western Front, wrote "I have gone through my file copy of the book and I can find no photographs in it which show whippets. Plenty of others showing larger tanks on trains. So, I think your correspondent must have been thinking of another book."
Do you recall if the photo was taken in England or France?Any other likely source?
If you look again, you'll see Amazon.UK is Temporarily out of stock.
The sites of a number of British booksellers make it look as if they also have copies at the initial/list price, but I've found in the past that many of them are quite lax in updating their sites.Noodlebooks/Kevin Robertson in this instance. Others showed up in the search, but had often small text indicating that it was not available at this time.
Shaun says he only printed 1K copies initially, but hopes to print more in 2014.However, he says "financially reprints are difficult: a big outlay with only a trickle of orders from which to finance it."That surprised me with the lack of copies available and the high prices for those that may be.
The linked thread that TCT gives has the image Ironsides attached, so we still don't have a photo of a Whippet on a train in France.I'm guessing that my site search didn't find it under "whippet" due to the hyphenation of the subject.

I have a copy of the ROD on Western Front book. There is a small photo showing Whippets as well as FTs and other tanks on train wagons. Not very clear. Better if someone has original. Its page 54 if anyone interested.
I got a copy of the book this year, but had to hunt around and certainly did not pay the price someone is advertising one at. It would be good to see it re-printed especially given the interest in WW1 stuff now.

Beat me to it - yes, page 54, with the caption 'Anotber photo taken at Erin on 10 February 1918, showing the variety of tanks in the final year of the war, and the greatly improved flat wagons then available. On the right are three Renault light tanks on a single 'Rectank', whilst further along the same train are single Mark V's on each wagon. On the left are two more Rectanks on which three Whippets are embarked.' The photo is Tank Museum 899/D2
