I did put some information on the development of markings previously on tank to air and air to tank communications thread.� The following letter (from TNA) has reference to the markings.� Notice March 1918 date.

Further to my previous post, I have attached a letter from GHQ (from TNA) dated 5th May 1918 reference the tank markings.� With this letter were drawings of the MK.IV, V and Whippet, showing how markings had been applied.

I wasn't sure if the top markings came after the horn markings rather than at the same time.
