I'm an author, translator, and publisher. I have some books that I produce that I believe would be of great interest to your forum members on the French armor in WWI, which I've translated into English. I would prefer you contact me directly (you have my e-mail address in your system) so I can discuss this with you off-line.
Glad you liked the books and I try to ship within 24 hours of receipt of the order. I did have some website problems recently, but those are blessedly resolved. With the centennial of WWI I have attempted to push into that area and have gotten some authors to put together some unique works on the armies of the war (such as those three works you bought) as well as reprint some unusual works on it. I have asked for the website owner to contact me directly (off-line), however, because I want to avoid "advertising" on his website.
George, there is no website owner for this forum. The person who set it up, and set up the Landships site, has not been seen for years. It's operating as a sort of peaceful co-op, with everybody taking responsibility for themselves to self-moderate their posts (with some few occasional anomalies).
If you want to advertise your books in a thread on this forum, I'm sure you will get lots of interested people contacting you. I am a Moderator here, so I will not be removing your posts, like I do with the Surplus Kitchen Cabinets posts (unless they are off topic, such as WW2 stuff)!
The Landships II website is paid for by Black Lion Decals, but the webmaster is Charlie. I am not sure that an advertisement would fit in that format; Black Lion Decals are the sponsors and who they choose to allow to advertise is entirely their decision, and the actual site carries reviews but not adverts. Charlie would perhaps have a different view on the matter, as would, I expect, Black Lion Decals.
