I can't remember off the top of my head. Can somebody put them out of their misery?

It's the Obusier 220mm de St-Chamond sur affût-chenilles St-Chamond - the only St-Chamond SPG fitted with wheels was the first prototype of the SPG armed with the

220mm St-Chamond howitzer. The film clip shows only the gun vehicle the tractor must have been around (within 50m) since that supplied electrical power to the gun vehicle.

Charlie

Ah. Haven't we seen another clip on there showing both vehicles? Rings a distant bell.

Anyway, ta Charles. Do you want to insert the info, or shall I?

I've just done so.

There are three Pathe clips on the Saint-Chamond SPGs from 1940. One with the 194mm SPGs deploying and another of a battery firing. The third is of a battery of 280mm SPG deploying and firing.

The clips are linked from the Landships II article.

Regards,

Charlie
