Welcome aboard - beautiful work on the big Whippet!

As for the Renault FT-17, here's an interesting Hungarian page with some drawings:

http://www.makettinfo.hu/index.php?jobb=anyagok/referencia/renault_ft17/

There's also a French page I found a while ago with loads of plans, but can I find it? Guess...

Anyway, here's a useful photo tour:

http://modelscale.free.fr/photoscopes/FT17_P/

This has the same set of plans as the first link does, but a much bigger version can be downloaded (it's a Ukrainian site):

http://armor.kiev.ua/Tanks/WWI/ft17/ft17.html

And then there's this page, from perhaps the finest website about French armour in the world:

http://www.chars-francais.net/des-origines-a-1930.htm

I don't really have anything on the Mark IV, but I'll see what I have (or can find - doubtless someone else will have tons of stuff anyway).

HOWDY Andy!!

Mighty glad to see you stoping by this site and joining in on our Discussion Group!

As you can see, the fine folks here are already reaching out and helping you with your requests, the blokes here at Landships.com are a superb bunch of fellas and I'm sure will do their very best to be of help to such a talented gentleman as yourself.

I was the original bugger who came across your wonderful work over at Armorama.com 'BigTank' thread and made a bee-line for this site to let all of the members here get a good look at your spendid Whippet on this previous thread 1/15th scale Whippet Gotta see!!

I truly wish I could be of more help with the reference's you are looking for, but I'm quite sure the more learned WWI gents here will be of more assistance than I in that regard. But, if there is anything else I can help out with, I would love to lend a hand! in any way I can...

Warm regards,

Treadhead.

Hi, Andy! Just like everyone else here I am very impressed by your work! You are a true master :)

I don't see to have any plans for the Mark IV, but I will attach several plans and illustrations of the FT17-tank here. Hope you find them useful!

Regards!

You're welcome. I'm glad I could help :)

I'm sure that everyone at these forums will have their eyes peeled for any Mark IV plans and post them here if they find any.

Good luck!
