Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd try my hand at digital photography as well. Three pics of my RPM mmgs model in 1/35 undergoing conversion to an Australian Light Patrol Car,Palestine 1917.

The spokes inthe kit are square so I have cut them out and replaced them with rod for a better appearance and I've added better detail (?) to the underside and am in the process of changing the mudguards and running boards with copies made of heavy foil.

Howdy Paul,

I must say, I am mighty glad to see someone else participating in the "other" Group Build!! Even though I have not taken the time to post pics of either of my entries, I still am most happy to see your pics.

I too am building the RPM Ford T armoured car kit in 1/35th scale. And I was rather surprised at how dimunitive it is. Your provided pics are a wee bit blury, but your build looks like it's coming along nicely. The second photo does show some of the added detail you have worked on, and as the base kit is rather basic, I think these additions will only add to the overall affect.

I have been playing with the idea of using some of RPM's additional 'pieces/parts' to create other armoured car variants {as you know RPM provides double sprues}.....just haven't had the time to work that all out.....

Please keep us informed of your continued progress, and make sure to post pics!

Tread.
