While bumbling around the web seeing what I could find out about the Gun Carrier Mk I, I stumbled across the Hackney Gunners site, which has tons of stuff including this page about the 60 pdr, which also features photos of a beautiful model (as well as many other pages dealing with limber, ammunition, ammo wagons etc. and links to other interesting material):

WOW! I long for a decent small scale model of the 60 pdr.... (and yes, I am aware of the Matador and RetroKit ones)

Reminds me of all those lovely models you used to see in the Rotunda.

Anybody got any idea when it went from two wheels to four wheels?
