A number of items of interest, not on standard public view. I got the chance of a visit last week.

I'll see if these will post as photos, otherwise follow the links

 

QF 12 pounder 12 cwt gun "Elswick Battery" and 13pdr? Not sure about the latter, no identification board.

9.2" breech mechanism.

Excellent, thank you. It's an 18 pounder field gun. The Elswick Battery gun is from the Second Boer War, a fascinating unit
