On Mr. Lovett's excellent site there are pictures of his 75mm artillery in green, yellow,white and black camouflage. Was this scheme also used on American C17 155mm howitzers. If not can someone suggest alternative American camouflage.
Seems to have been - attached image is from the "Handbook of Artillery 1920". Olive drab became the standard fairly soon after the end of the war
but there are images of camouflaged guns post war. Note the image is a US produced howitzer.
