Hello,
I am working on the realization of a CD devoted to the 194 GPF Saint-Chamond preserved at Fort Sill. The study will contain more than 350 photos (close-up, overall views). I am searching for documentation (data, drawings, ...) regarding the running gear, platform and gun in order to enclose it in a special chapter. Could anybody help me ?
I thank you in advance.
Jean
Many thanks for the information Tanker. It seems to be a very interesting source of information. I am going to search if there is a link on the web to contact them.

Details on the 194mm GPF gun may be difficult to find since the gun was intended to be deployed on a carriage similar to the 155mm GPF but with the end of WW1.
The conventional 194mm gun was abandoned and the barrels used only on the Saint-Chamond SPG. Filloux's intent was to have a gun similar in performance to the 155mm GPF
which could utilise the large holdings of obsolete calibre Naval ammunition.
There are a set of drawings in the archive of MAFVA (www.mafva.net/) - you have to be a member to access these.
There is an article on the Saint-Chamond SPGs in Landships II - there are a couple of references in the article.
How far has the restoration progressed on the 194mm at Fort Sill? - great to see it being looked after rather than rotting away at Aberdeen.
