I really shouldn't read some posts... Ok I get my name mentioned... but a 'little' help! Only how the wheels and axles actually go together, rather than how most seem to think. Plus the fact they are the same as later used on the MK1 Tank. Steering tiller setup and some photos from the Imperial War Museum's site. Ok I couldn't help on the frame as it changed so often and others on here pointed to plans by then, but a 'Little' help!! no

I've always loved the help I get on this site and try to give back when I can, so I'm really not that impressed when others come here pressing for information and don't appear to appreciate what they got. I've spent nearly ten years researching the Mark1 Tank and still learning, so I guess I appreciate that some times information doesn't always fall at your feet.

Ok rant over, you can take your tin helmets off now.

I like the model though! :)

Helen x

You can print your own Little Willie box from the template at:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/whzyq0e6yctzdcb/Willie+Box.pdf

You might think the cardmodelers are taking the piss, but then you would, wouldn't you, as for myself, I couldn't possibly comment.

Regards,

Charlie

I'm not sure I understand any of this...

Helen...are you pissed off that my model isn't free
or just that I haven't thanked your specifically (for what I don't know).
Or am I just not understanding your post.

My appreciation to the members of this forum is blanket!

When I design a papermodel kit, I do two things...I design for beginner builders and design for paper.
This generally means a simplified, somewhat stylized approach to some aspects of the design.
I will personally trade technical accuracy for an better card model build.

Don't you dare suggest I don't appreciate the help of others.
You don't know me.
If you did, you would know better.
You want something from me, all you gotta do is ask.

The fake Model box was a display item I created to sit beside the tank model at last year's paper model convention.
I did the same thing with a Centurion Tank.
I decided to share the box with my customers who have purchased my kit(s).
Thats why it was only posted on the papermodel forum.

Don't worry...its okay here...in fact I probably should have thought to share it here.

Why would anyone think card modelers were making fun of anyone?
We are quite serious about what we do
and hate it when we are not accepted into "modelling" circles.
We try so hard all the time to be accepted by plastic modellers especially.

Oh dear!! I only wanted to to give other Landshipers the delightful, but unfortunately fleeting, feeling that Airfix have produced a long wished for kit to their current high standards.

All I need now is Airfix to complain about the Airdave box  to round it off!!!!   no

As I said, I probably should have thought to share it here myself.
No worries Chris.
