If anyone is interested panzer46.com has some very good pictures of the upcoming set of WW1 french from pegasus in 1/72 scale. I have several of their WW2 sets and for the most part they are very well done figures

hard to believe I know but they really are 1/72 the figures I already have are very well sculpted going so far as to have some with seperate arms ,heads, entrenchment tools etc to allow for more detail to the molding (by the way the plastic responds well to liquid cement and super glue) and the poses are as good as many 1/35 scale figures I have seen I very much hope when this set is released it sells well so they will be encouraged to produce some more ww1 sets
