A new one on me. Of the type normally seen on heavier guns, but apparently used in Gaza/Palestine.
Came across it while looking into the ped-rail (sic)/Bottrill/Dreadnaught (sic) question. Much confusion surrounding this. Anyone familiar with the Dreadnaught Wheel and how it came by the name? It would suggest a trade-name, but I haven't found a patent or registered trademark.

Thanks, Charlie. Very nice documents. I've found quite a few similar devices, including an interesting thing called the Anderson Wheel. The puzzle that remains is that Bottrill's device is suddenly announced as "the Dreadnaught" without any explanation as to how or when it acquired such a name. It's not a generic name, so I assume it must have been a marketing name, but no details.
