Looks like you can buy direct from Matador:

you can order directly from matador. however;

1.you can only contact them by fax or by snail mail

2. their catalogue prices include VAT (sales tax) which you will have to subtract

3. and then add on the percentage they state for shipping to the states

their service, i have found from experience, is excellent and (within the limits of snail mail speed) fast. they will answer questions (submitted via fax or letter) about details, and even stupid questions like the kind i ask!

an alternative may be to use the scalelink website, because...

1. you can order on the web

2. they dont include VAT in their stated prices

3. sometimes they work out slightly cheaper

i have found, again from experience, that scalelink's service is also excellent.

as for attaching the airfix tracks, well, after seeing/buying the matador tracks you may not want to attach the airfix tracks!!! however, if you are stubborn like me, you will need loads of superglue and glue them all the way round, starting at top centre and working outwards, down and under. this may leave a gap which can be filled, but at least its out of site under the vehicle. but the matador tracks are superior

About the Airfix Mk I tracks, I glued mine with superglue and it went perfectly. However the tracks are too short and will leave a gap of about 5-7mm wich can be filled with "mud".
