I read in my book, "French Tanks Of World War One", that the failed Nivelle offensive caused a mutiny among French troops, and General Petain temporarily called off any major offensives and concentrated in getting the tanks and infantry to work together. Tanks were still a primitive novelty, so I wondered how exactly they went about it. That might be an interesting diorama subject if anybody knew how it was done.
Thanks. I purposely wanted to show an early St. Chamond being used to train infantry, only how would the thing be marked and painted, outside of the base industrial gray?
