I caught the end of "The Travel Show" on BBC last night, next week's includes a 'Laurence of Arabia' experience in Jordan, it's on iPlayer if anyone is interested, but hopefully next weeks will have more.

Hopefully there will be better pictures next week, but the wheels look to be a modern chassis.

Probably a Japanese light truck chassis. Mitsubishi Canter or similar. Wheels are a bit small. A J-series Land Cruiser might have been a better option.
The 0.30" Brownings on the train wagon are decidedly inappropriate. Even a piece of simple pipe welded on would have made a better MG08 facsimile.
