Thanks PDA, there are a lot of SPG clips in these - I spotted the 75mm Ordnance Dept SPG on the Holt 2.5 ton tractor chassis, Christie's SPG with 155mm gun,
the Mark IX with 155mm gun (couple of clips).

Thanks, Charlie. I'm a bit rusty; which one is the amphibious one, the Mark IX or the Christie?
I hadn't mentioned the Christie amphibian - that was a project from about 1926 for the Marine Corps. All the SPGs projects died in 1923
when the US Army Field Artillery hierarchy went back to the future with hippomobile transport.
The Christie SPG has 4 large roadwheels on each side with a 155mm M1918 gun (it's the licence built GPF).
The SPG was a big vehicle with Holt suspension frames and a gun which looks like an extended GPF - I think it was one of the prototypes
for what became the Long Tom gun.
