If It's German, It's Not Selling?

I see a lot of kits come out one after another of German WW2 kits including those of little- or never-produced vehicles, but it seems that for WW1, everything British or French or American is being produced.  You'd think we'd be seeing plenty of 77mm cannons or support vehicles by now.  Understandably Uberlandwagens were rare, but there must have been a number of softskins or other vehicles.

Yes, I am thinking of the Charlie Chaplin movie I saw where he plays a soldier who daydreams about first capturing the Kaiser's car, and then the Kaiser himself.

I agree there is little out there for the modeler.  Which is why I decided, a few years ago, to create my own.  Attached are pics of my 7.7cm FK96 n/A.   this is a 3D rendition printed in resin.  I've attached some detail shots; both painted and as is.  As information, I model in traditional 54mm / 1:32 scale.

Are you selling the 3D models or prints? If not and would like a reputable channel to distribute

your .stl files look no further than Landships II. I can only offer the fame of getting your name

up as the designer of the model as recompense - http://landships.info/landships/3dprint.html.

regards,

Charlie

Hello Charlie,

I have little interest in marketing for profit.  I would however, have a few printed if there were genuine interest with anyone here. ( I must warn any prospective buyers to be aware of resin; it does not have the common properties of plastic, and requires a good deal of patience to work with.)  I sold an example a couple years ago to a chap from the mother country, and I believe he was pleased with it. (You will note the two specimen pictured are missing the breach blocks. I wanted the option of displaying the breach opened or closed.)

I will get back to you, Charlie, if anyone shows interest; Landships II would indeed be the avenue I would prefer.
