AEC 3 ton lorry plans

Hi gents anyone recognise the plans in this photo, iam guessing they are by Ken Musgrove looking at the part name showing, found the pic on a scratchbuilding blog sute which is no more and cant track down the blogger think the fellas name is Col but thats all i know. Anyway its a copy of those plans i was after so any help appreciated

Hi

If you are unable to track down the plans shown in the photo an alternative might be the AEC 3 ton lorry listed in the blueprint section of the-blueprints.com. There is a charge to download. The page to view is www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/trucks/aec/50070/view/aec_3ton__1918_/

I have no connection with the afore mentioned website, just trying to be helpful

Ken Musgrave produced a number of plans and they appeared in either Airfix Magazine or Military Modelling, I may have a copy on my main pc so I'll have a look and let you know in the next couple of days.

"Col" is, or was, a pretty decent Aussie scratch builder, and had a home page a few years ago as I recall.

Hoddy thanks i will take a look, i know of the site

Paul Bonnett, got a few of Kens plans from those magazines but havent been able to track this one down so if you have it be appreciated.

28juni14 I used to pop into his blog every so often , as you say he did some very decent stuff even if aimed at gaming i believe, had some good step by step tutorials as well, not sure when it closed down, wish id saved more photos and the text from the site now. By searching the blog name scratchbuildingarmour.blogspot Col's tanks you can find the odd photo or a mention of the blog, shame its gone.

Having to search through my collection of magazines at the moment so will take me a bit longer, sorry. I had a look on the Wayback Machine website for Col's Blog but no such luck I'm afraid.

Still searching but have found this  https://www.militaryimages.net/media/wwi.36057/ which contains a lot of WW1 "stuff". I need more hours in the day yawn

Paul Bonnett and Panzerpal thank you both those are the plans in the photo, sorry for not replying sooner, dont visit the site that much and havent had a good year for various reasons and model making has had to take a back seat to real life
