MiniArt Austin Armoured Car 1918
Permalink

Now that MiniArt has given us a Series 3 and the 1918 Pattern, both with full interior, I have a few questions.

Can anyone help by telling me what colour the interior of the car was.  The instructions say to use moss green - maybe, but as a former tank and armoured car crew member I find it a bit difficult to fathom using a dark colour in an enclosed space.  I would have assumed a white or silver interior.  Anyone have an idea?

I have decided to open up one of the lower turret storage areas. Pretty sure it was used to house spare tyres or other items in their absence.  Can someone confirm the purpose of the built in external storage containers (under each turret) please?

I have looked around the net and various sites and have been unable to find any interior views and decent pictures of the Austin 1918 engine.  Can anyone help?

Cheers and thank you in advance,

Don Allen (8Hussar)

Thank you for that! Brilliant photograph that I had not seen before. Very clear, lots of detail and of course the WHITE painted interior of the car. Thank you again for that.
