Emhar A7V warning (or tip)

a7v_16.JPGThis is something that has been mentioned here in reviews and builds but I thought that I would make a separate post about it:

There is a fault in the instructions.  Part #11 is shown wrong. It should me mounted from the front not from the inside.

This was wrong from the beginning and has not been corrected on the instructions yet.  I followed the instructions when I built my first A7V when it was released but it always looked strange.

Now that I stumbled across a kit review that mentioned this I understand why.  Well, I had eight of those parts left over so I decided to fix this.

There is another thing to watch out for. It is easy to get the sides wrong. The door hinges should be mounted like on a modern car: At the front.

I mixed the parts up on one and had to break the hull apart.

Thanks for the tip, Orso. I'm enjoying your build.

Thanks, I seem to recall having issues with getting the gun to fit correctly when I built my A7V. I guess now I know why. blankstare
