To go with my WW1 60cm French Artillery light railway layout a kit bashed Canon de 75 mm antiaérien mle 1917. The kit a 75mm Anti-Aircraft gun model 17/34 from EWM was modified by replacing the gun with the shorter version used during WW1 and adding the shields. A representation of the dials and sighting kit was also added. A caisson for the 1897 75mm field gun, also from EWM, was added as the ammunition supply. This is to be one of a number of vignettes on the layout to add extra interest and help set the scene of a 1918 small railway siding supplying the French army during the latter half of that year.
