After uploading I saw the Mephisto image a little bigger and better than normal. My eyes are not what they used to be, effect of age....This is waterslide decal bought online but had to cut it out from a sheet. The carrier film was very thick and did not response to decal softeners, Tamiya strong, Daco strong and Micro set and sol were applied with no noticeable effect. From the same sheet the crosses were useless on the rivited locations. Fortunately the Meng decals applied beautifully. So I tried to improve by cutting out more closely especially removing the decalfilm around the rivets. Have to repair the paint layer and apply a new coat of varnish but I looks much better now.
