New to Landships Forum

Hello,

An introduction: I have recently been introduced to WWI partly from Peter's first version of Landships, and recently with Doug's FB page for modeling WWI armor. I have spent a few months finding some reference books and models (I build in 1/72 and 1/76 as alternative when 1/72 not available).

I read through some posts here about reference books and models, and was lucky to find most of the books mentioned in the forums. The Emhar kits proved somewhat hard to find, and I bought a few here and there on Ebay and some old retail shops. Then Hannants got a shipment and I got the remaining I wanted for conversions.

That takes me to the forum build notes: I really enjoyed reading everyone's take on the Emhar A7V. I have saved text and pictures from each and have been adapting them all. I plan to release my own reference to the Emhar A7V build later. I will also post reviews of the various kits I have bought. A lot are not mentioned on these pages, possibly because they are newer kits, so I will review as many as I can later.

Happy modeling!

Tony IĀ

Welcome Tony, great to have you here. I hope you post your modeling work here when you have the opportunity. I think adding more WWI modelers here will help increase traffic and viewership to the site. Thanks again for joining.
