Does anybody have a good drawing or photographs of the Wilson epicyclic steering used the in the Mk V tank?
I've always found it odd that in sources for the Mk IV the outboard 2-speed gear-sets are often in covered in great detail with drawings and photos... whereas the steering in Mk V seems to be glossed over quickly with a line or two mentioning it no longer required 4 people to steer the tank....
From what I've read the epicyclic (planetary) gearset was used as a simple clutch/brake set up... but I'm curious as to what it looked like in the Mk V and how it was mounted in the track frames.
