Elsewhere on the Forum, Gwyn refers to Munkeezulu as "my friend." Assuming he wasn't speaking purely figuratively, perhaps Gwyn can throw some light on it.

I am afraid I haven't been in touch with Rob Martin for some considerable time. There was a time when we worked together on the site (I was credited on it). I don't know why it is down but I do know that Rob's attention has been elsewhere for some little while.

Oh, that's terrible news. It's a fantastic resource. Is there any way of contacting Rob? If it's a cost problem, we might be able to help.

If the creator of the Landships website really has moved on to other things there is another possibility to make the information assembled
live on forever - IPFS (Interplanetary File System) [https://ipfs.io/ for detail] - this distributes content over many machines effectively making content immortal.
I think the data content of the original Landships website is stored in a database - it would probably have to be converted to html but since there
isn't any need for rapid updates that shouldn't be an issue.
I'll volunteer to handle the conversion and deployment to IPFS. Better than just losing all the time and effort which has gone into creating the website.
