Because I do not want to wait another 50 years!

Like everybody I have a long list of models that I never made because of lack of  good drawings and other information. Now I have decided not to wait any longer and just start with them, trying to reconstruct from pictures and guessing the rest.

The first one is the Tritton Chaser, the prototype for the Whippet tank equipped with one machinegun in a rotating turret. I assumed that under time pressure the designers did change as less as possible when they made the production version with the fixed superstructure so kept all dimensions the same.

The second one is the Steamtank “ America” .

On the internet you can find a lot of pictures of this tank, unfortunately most of them covered with soldiers and civilians right on the spots where I was most interested in. I did a lot of rivet counting and believe the proportions are right now. The tank is not painted yet as I am in doubt of the right color, something brownish or something greenish? Is there an expert on the forum to advice on this!

The third model I like to make is one of the many versions of the Medium Tank Mk D. I collected all the info from the Landships Forum and the Osprey book but I am still struggling with the overall dimensions and layout,  the rear part of the hull , was it open? as I can see a man standing in to it or was it covered. Someone can help me with more info?

Your guess, is as good as mine wrt the colour of the Steam Tank.
This colourised picture makes it green, which looks reasonable.

Yes these are 3d prints, it feels a bit like cheating,

but nowadays it is the only way I can get these rivets in a straight line and with the same spacing

I proposed them to Jan Giesbers for his 1/72 Den Bels range, but they need some modifications to make them castable in resin.
