I could have sworn I'd already followed this up, but it would seem not.

The first half is all about his boxing career. Then the action moves to France.

The first tank glimpsed at 1h 31m 25sec.

Tanks carried on trucks 1h 31m 59s.

Long battle scene begins 1h 34m 05s. Lots of troops and tanks from then on. (Tanks are M1917s, of course)

This is all interwoven with the hero's relationship with his best pal and his gal and nasty recruiting sergeant - you know the sort of thing. I won't give the ending away.
