French? German? Mechanics at work
Permalink

At first glance, I assumed these were French mechanics at work.  I have not been able to identify the vehicle.  When I was looking close at the photo, I saw a cap hanging on the hand brake lever. The insignia makes me think these might be GERMAN mechanics!  What do you think?

Thanks for your input,

Based on the hat I would say German. Also note the boots on the kneeling soldier.

Hello!
Do you have a close-up or can you see with the magnifying glass what is written on the plates at the connectors or what the cap badge is? An Edelweiss?

Hi John!
Hard to see...
It could be an Edelweiß, but it doesn´t look like, but what else could it be?
Unfortunately the details are invisible.
