I was interested to know if WWI armoured cars were painted white inside? I have seen photos/footage of the Rolls Royce online that show a white interior but these vehicles also served in WWII.
I am particularly interested in the Ford Armoured cars of 1916.
The pictures that I have seen they are painted a white color as to illuminate better when the hatches were buttoned up. The are pictures on google images of the White armored car and its interior is white. I would post a pic but you can do a search and find the photos much easier. Also I am not sure about posting pictures here that are not owned by poster.
