Plastic models of WW1 tanks are like hen's teeth unless you can afford the !/35 versions. Managed to pick up a1/72 Emhar female and was looking through Osprey British tanks IV tank, David Fletcher.
A couple of pictures drew my attention. Page 10 there is a picture which says it is " a rare example of a MkIV hermaphrodite" called " Whiskey and soda" in Ireland. I cannot find any information of this tank. Serial number and history would be of interest. I thought that MKIV composites were a bit like unicorns but David Fletcher is a well know expert on such things!
The other picture on page 21 is of a MkIV with a crib dated 27th September 1918. Unfortunately, with my eyesight I cannot ready the full name. It looks like the last four letters are ADER.
Any help would be appreciated as people may recognise these tanks from other sources.
I can make out "SADER" on the glacis plate. I would make a guess that the name is "CRUSADER". There was a MkIV named "CRUSADER II" serving with C Battalion at Cambrai in 1917.
