Mk IV - Beute camo scheme?

In "The German A7V...." Rainer Strasheim has at least 6 different schemes. One of these schemes had the original British khaki as the base colour with patches of clay yellow and red brown. Another scheme had broad, wavy vertical stripes of German field grey outlined in black over the British khaki. A third scheme has a German field grey base with patches similar to the first scheme. A fourth was a very plain appearing scheme with the British khaki being patched up with German field grey. These four schemes all had the Eisenkreuz. A fifth scheme with Latin crosses had broad patches of frosty green and redbrown over a German field grey base. The sixth scheme, also with Latin crosses, had a "crazy paving" effect with a German field grey base and black outlined patches of clay yellow, red brown, and frosty green.

P.S.: Not all of these schemes appeared at the same time however.

It's a great source of information but not cheap or easy to find. A cheaper alternative is "German Tanks in World War I" by Wolfgang Schneider and Rainer Strasheim (ISBN 0-88740-237-2). It doesn't have the same depth of information but it does cover the LK I & II as well as the K-Wagen.

Amazon also has it at the moment. US$180, so a bit cheaper but still not cheap.

$180 dollars for the example of The german A7V and captured British....... by Strasheim and Hundley?

Won my example on Ebay for $54 in terrific condition and searched on for another example and found a store in Belgium who had 3 examples for 101 euro each.

That was 6 months ago but maybe they still have the books.

Still not cheap but a lot cheaper then the example on amazon.

This site/the sellers always asks a lot of money for the example they sell.

Yes, that's an ATR on my "Bob cardmodel". Some of the beutepanzers are said to have had them, more commonly on the females than on the males.
