Gentlemen!

I could not find any information on this vehicle in your forum. Does anyone know more than the german underlines reading:

Infantry-Carrier (heavy tank Mk. IX), 1918
Data: Length 9,73m, Width 2,44m, heigth 2,64m , Engine 50 hp(which is a typing error,
engine should be a 150 hp)RICARDO. Weight empty 27 t, loaded 37 t, capable of carrying 50 soldiers, crew 4 men, armament 2 MG, Top speed 5,6 km/h

Thanks for your support in advance,

Pody

One can only add a small detail,

The weight and limited power of the MK IX gave problems on soft going as the tracks tended to sink and the machine to become bellied. An increase in track width and engine power would have been needed before this supply tank became really effective.
