German armored cars in Palestine

Good Day to everyone,

Osprey publishing's campaign series book "Megiddo 1918" tells that there were some german armored cars fitted with train tracks to patrol railway lines in Palestine. I really wondered their number and exact model. May somebody clear this out please ?
