Must be be - the links to attaching a file just are not appearing! I note the new thumbnails - only problem with them is if I click on the back navigation arrow it doesnt take me back to the posting to which the file is attached but to the screen listing all postings - very inconvenient. I wonder if there is some incompatiblity with the new facility and the browsr provided by my ISP - AOL?
I've just looked at the test thumbnails and found that if I click on the main picture it returns me to the original post but using the back button takes me to the forum listing

Not just you Peter. If you upload the picture and then post your message it uploads twice! If just put the picture name and location in the list butdon't upload the picture when you post the message the picture uploads at the same time and you don't get duplicate thumbnails
