I know a lot of people have had various difficulties and frustrations with the forum but I think the slightly new appearance, where new posts are in boldface as well as having the nodding icon beside them, makes it easier to pick out the new posts from all the old posts.
Thanks to whoever is responsible for this change. All too often we complain (and often rightly) when something doesn't work; we should also be grateful when it does work.

I'd gladly swap it for a picture upload that worked properly all the time - much more important

Thanks for pointing it out - I hadn't noticed as go by the time since my last visit and therefore only look at the right-hand column for time elapsed!

This website is a big improvement over the last.  I particularly like the way you can click on photos and they come up like a HUD.

The only gripe I have is that it doesn't sort out the posts into proper chronogical order.

its great that we have this forum.

i have learned a great deal in the last couple of years; first from Peter's main site, and then from this forum that he started.

most of my research is only possible because of forums like this.

also there are a couple of decent chaps on here.

lately, I have taken to clicking on "recent posts" in the bar above
