By the way were did you get the photo, very interesting. all the best Tim R
I think, the last picture is Daimler only! First three photos are no Daimlers. All Daimler trucks more as 2 ton from 1899 to 1925 was with "Ritzel" system. Here I see typical trucks. It possible Benz-Gaggenau, MAN-Saurer, NAG, Dixi, Ehrhardt, Büssing and others trucks. Here the pictures of Ritzel-system, patent Daimler.

Hello Tim There is only one photo of that swiss truck existing. Could be a Saurer or Berna. Unfortunately it's a scan out of a book that is available only in Switzerland: "Motorfahrzeuge in der Schweizer Armee 1898-1937". I could send you a better copy if you want by mail, but I won't post it here because of the copyrights.
Greetings Peter T

I can not argue with that, except I am very certain that the two in the center are Daimlers, all photos and information I have concerning them, state they were build on Daimler chassis But I and the information could be wrong???
Do you have any photos showing these improvised Armored cars???
Hello Peter
I understand, I would like a clearer photo if possible, I would be glade to pay for the photocopying and postage. Also are there any other good photos from that 1898 until ww2 as well as information on them????
I am very interested
All the best
Tim R

Hi Tim,
first photo..., yes, Daimler - I see closed back-wheels - typical for Daimler with "Ritzel-Antrieb". 2nd and 3rd photos - I see circuit ("Ketten-Antrieb") - it is no Daimler. I know, in books wroten "all german Befehl-PzWagen" was Daimler , it is falsh! All Daimler and Daimler-Marienfelde german trucks more as 2 ton (also english Milnes-Daimker, austrian Austro-Daimler, russian Lessner-Daimler, sweden Hedlund-Daimler, italian de Luca-Daimler from 1900 to 1922 have RITZEL! Maybe it is Daimler little trucks chassis with circuit?
P.S. 4x4 Military Daimler and Krupp-Daimler have cardans...
