I did a quick search but didn't find this image in any old threads. It's from an old book from 1969 that I picked up over the holidays, The World's Greatest Regiments by Vezio Melegari. The caption is "An example is illustrated opposite in a page of an Italian series the Marca Aquila. It was well known to collectors of paper soldiers and students of military iconography." I lost a bit at the top, which says CARRO D'ASSALTO, the Marca Aquila logo, and Foglio N. 96. No idea of the original date.
I hadn't seen that particular illustration before. It's clearly by the same artist who did the cross section on the cover of B.T.White's book, almost the same picture. In that version there's no partial representation of the armor, so one can see the whole engine and transmission beneath the floor.
