Can somebody clearly reproduce this inscription (in German, certainly). As I do not know German, I can make on a diopama gross blunders that will be indecent.

More colloquially, erledigt can be translated as "knocked out, dealt with, taken care of", that sort of thing.

In this case I would suggest that "erledigt" means "destroyed" or "killed".
