I can see it's a Daimler; but that's all I know!

Hello Dirty Animal,

The pic illustrates a Krupp-Daimler KD1 zugmaschine.  The vehicle entered service in 1917 as prime mover for the K-Flak 8,8cm, and the 15cm K16; both of which reached the front during the same period.

i can't find any other pictures of it anywhere. although i can see that Ken Musgrave made plans for it, and someone wrote about it in the MAFVA magazine. and Navwar make a 1/300th scale model of it.

Hello again Filthy Dirty,

Here's a pic lifted from eBay.  You will note it is towing the K16 rohrwagen.  The carraige would have been pulled by another KD1.   These 4 wheel drive vehicles were quite popular , and there were certainly not enougth manufacturered.  Their role was often supplemented by other traktor models.
